Most of the feedback complimented the statistics and the idea itself, so what I changed for this is that I tried to sound more secure about what I was offering. I believe that when you are explaining an idea, if you don't deliver it correctly, then no matter the content, they may not be on board because of your insecurity while talking.
Hey Juan, I think you did a great job and are dressed very professionally. I see an increase in your self-confidence but I encourage you to keep working at it. Maybe try practicing over and over in front of the camera, in front of people you trust, or both. It's one of the best tools to build confidence. I also think practicing would assist you with your word flow and allow you to clear your head. I know when I film my elevator pitches, I restart a thousand times before I get it right. Overall, this is an excellent idea and I'm proud of the progress you are making, keep it up!
I love how you started with statistics because it shows how big of an issue it is. You were able to grasp the attention of your investors. Additionally, I love how you spoke to the entire room besides the camera. You made your pitch seem more authentic and real because of that. I think this app could, like you said, save a lot of people. Great job!
Juan, First off, your presentation was very formal and professional which is a key start. I also liked how you started off grabbing your audience with facts and statistics to really make them aware of how big this problem is which would make them pay closer attention and hear what you have to say. I was not sure if you were looking around to pretend to talk to an actual audience or not. If it was than I think that is an awesome thing to do and really makes it look more realistic and will help for a time that you actually do an elevator pitch. If not, than just try to focus more on the camera and try not to look away so much but I am pretty sure you did that all to pretend to look at the audience so great job. I think your idea is great and the best part is it can save a lot of people because the roads are one of the most dangerous places we have out there.
